【Test Principle】
Based on the differential pressure method, the instrument measures air permeability by placing a pre-conditioned sample between upper and lower measurement surfaces. A constant pressure differential is applied across the sample, driving air flow from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side. The permeability is calculated based on the flow rate, pressure differential, and test area. Results are expressed as the average air flow rate per unit area under specified conditions, in micrometers per Pascal-second [1 μm/(Pa·s) = 1 mL/(m²·Pa·s)].
